I more or less convinced myself that no middle
with an even number of digits can give a prime.

I also worked out that middle 9998999
gives 147093 digits for the 10997th p*l*nd*ch* number.

At that rate of explosion the chances of a prime
are negligible, given that there is no prime with
middle < 10^5 and hence none with middle < 10^6.

I had early taken that to be your conclusion:
don't waste time on this chimera, you seemed
